Today (June 29, 2006) starts U.S. Women´s Open Championship in Golf. One of the four majors for the professional ladies. Of course I wanted to see Annika Sörenstam to win, Swede that I am. Even I don´t think she gonna make it this year.

Defending champion is Birdie Kim (nice name, isn´t it?). I don´t think see gonna win neither but who nows?

Tonight France win against Spain. Of course i wanted Spain to win. They have a young and really strong team that have play really good football earlier in the tournament. In the group France just win against Togo.

But after Frank Ribery made 1-1 to France Spain not play good. The midfield that earlier was tight and good, was not strong enough to keep up in the second period. France scored one goal just eight minutes from left and when Zinedine Zidane (the old man..) give France 1-3 just a minute from the end Spain couldn´t do anything.

Spain - France 1-3.

Now France gonna play quarter final against Brazil. A match that Brazil gonna win, I thougt. Read more about the match on Yahoo´s World Cup - site.
